It’s always better to be knowledgeable about the process of remodeling a kitchen. Here is the most common order of events for a major kitchen remodel that involves total gutting (a minor remodel would involve fewer steps which would depends on what you change and what you keep) but, keep in mind, each project is unique and Lynstar Enterprises may have good reason to deviate slightly from the steps below.
    Steps of a Kitchen Remodel:
  • Tear out and Demolition
  • Rough-in work including the framing and plumbing
  • Inspections
  • Finishing the walls
  • Install doors and windows (if that is part of the kitchen remodel)
  • Install cabinets and plumbing fixtures
  • Add appliances (many appliances are delayed due to supply issues so be sure to order them ahead of time)
  • Install new flooring
